Originally known as the Skerritt's Drugstore building, this historic building was the first structure in Basseterre made using reinforced cinder blocks. Mocked and criticized for putting too much time, money and effort into the construction, St. Kitts' "Rock of Gibraltar" has stood the test of time through countless earthquakes hurricanes and other natural disasters without so much as a blemish on the structure.

This 2 storey sturcture was known for its upstairs apartment - which originally housed the Skerritt family - and eventually turned into a vibrant restaurant and subsequently offices. Downstairs was originally 1 large open space housing the world famous Skerritt's Drugstore. Later split into two commercial spaces and eventually reopening as one large commercial space again.
