Shadwell Greathouse has an incredible history filled with royalty, pirates, treasure, rags to riches and so much more. The despite being the oldest standing stone foundation on the island, the house has only been owned by 3 families each one adding a bit of itself to the house and land and despite these renovations / additions the greathouse has been able to maintaining its original heritage and charm.

Though now the greathouse's primary use is commercial space - for offices, stores and the like - the greathouse has housed families throughout the years.
